PARENT CHILD+ Home visiting program
The Parent Child+ Program is an evidenced based early literacy, parenting and school readiness program for parents and children in their homes. The program’s goal is to close the achievement gap by providing families with the skills and materials necessary to prepare their children for school and life success.
The program supports literacy development for children ages 16months - 3 years. The program is designed to provide two weekly 30minutes visits to children and parents where the early learning specialist will model reading, conversations and play activities. Families receive free high quality books and toys which are used to support development and parent- child interactions.
